Shout Out The Noise!

Good morning. All right, that’s a little better. Okay, if you see me shaking, it’s not because I’m nervous, but it’s a little chilly in here. Wouldn’t you say? Yeah, a little bit. And that’s intentional because we need to keep you awake this morning. There’s a lot we’re gonna go over, and I just wanna start with talking about life, and I have a lot to say about that, and I’ll tie it into risk management eventually.

We’ll see where it goes. But Sid Williams taught us to never ever forget where we come from. And I tell people that I’m very blessed, and I’m blessed in life having three incredible kids, a great wife But it’s all because of what happened in Marietta, Georgia. And when I went to school, I went here because I was told by my brothers, “This is the only place to be.”

And I met some incredible people. I met Gerry Clum before I ever became a student or a chiropractor, and he became my friend and mentor until the day he passed, and I’m very grateful for that. Him and Charlie Cobb came here based on faith from Palmer and helped open the school. But remember, for those of you that either don’t know or don’t remember, there were a bunch of chiropractors that followed Dr.

Williams on the beach, Ormond Beach in Florida, when he had the vision of Life, and they helped support him in creating that vision into a reality. And those were a lot of mentors and people that I cherished in my relationships in my life, like John Hoffman and Ian Grossom and Jim Greg and all the others, whatever it is.

But I will never forget where I come from. But right now, I hear so much noise out on the internet and a little bit outside of this room about Life University. And the message I want to deliver today is about shutting out the noise. There’s so much good happening here. This is the only place to be to become a chiropractor and to honor chiropractic.

And so I wanna just recognize a couple of people about that exact part. And first of all, this event, how’s it been? Great. Good?

We did. How do you think that went? Me either. Me neither. How’s the event been? Yeah, man. I’m so thankful that we have Gille LaMarche here and see him regaining his health and vitality. He’s always responsible for this, and he’s a good friend, someone I love and cherish, and just so glad you’re here and back up on top.

So keep going.
