Hey everybody. We have a lot to go through again today, a lot’s happening across the world. That’s going to impact what’s happening here in the United States. We want to again, go over the Supreme court rulings with you, and then talk to you about the next steps of what we plan to take as we move forward into this a year.
Make sure you pay attention. We have good stuff for you today. All right. And everybody, my name is Bharon Hoag. I’m the executive director of OneChiropractic and the Chiropractic Defense Council coming to you today, Monday, January 24th for your weekly update. As you can tell those of you that watch these regularly, my background is a little bit different.
I’m actually in South Carolina today, visiting my daughter at chiropractic school. Today’s a big day for our family. She transitions from. A student to a chiropractic intern where she’ll be starting to treat outpatients in the community. It’s pretty freaking amazing day for us. Those of you that know me know how passionate I am about chiropractic and the fact that my daughters being a chiropractor has been one of the most amazing things to watch this journey and to go through it with.
But to celebrate today, her actually starting to treat the general public is pretty amazing for me. So just sharing that with you I’m pretty excited and love, love this profession and love that my, our name will be a part of it forever in this capacity. So yeah. So the next few weeks we’re going to be all over the place.
I was just at maximized living this past Saturday. So for those of you, I saw that. Thanks for jumping on board and joining us. But also, I’m going to be at AMC, this coming weekend. I’m going to be in Parker. I’m going to be all over the place here telling our story and trying to get people to understand the vision that we have with the chiropractic defense council.
So if I have the opportunity to see you at one of those locations, please make sure to come up and say hello to me. I would greatly appreciate that. So you’re going to, these videos are going to be coming from all over the country here over the next couple of. Big stuff happening in the world. This week or the last week, actually the United Kingdom on Wednesday came out and stated that on January 26th, they’re stopping everything.
Mass mandates, travel restrictions, vaccine passports, vaccine mandates. It’s all done as of the 26th. No. Dumb enough to think that it’s because they’ve, understand the truth. Now it was very political. There’s been a lot of upheaval in the United Kingdom in that prime ministers up for reelection.
I understand there’s reasons why it happened, but nonetheless, it’s very positive work for us. It shows that the narrative is. We’re seeing that really across the world, as their own evidence is debunking their statements and it’s becoming more and more evidence. So we’re optimistic that we’re going to start seeing this in other countries.
The work that we’re doing in Australia has been very effective. We’re starting to see things fall apart there. We feel like we’ve got a graphs now in New Zealand and we’re starting to be able to help individuals there as well here in the United States. It’s very interesting as we head into the.
Cycle. There’s great things that are happening for chiropractic in Michigan. We have a chiropractor running for governor that actually has a very good statistical chance of winning. You’re going to be seeing some information coming from me. I’m really encouraging you guys to be a part of that movement.
That’d be the first time ever that our profession had a chiropractor as a governor, and that’s a pretty big deal. Not only is it a great deal to be a governor, but it’s a great deal to be a governor in Michigan considering how diabolical they have been in Democrats. The democratic governor, there has been so restrictive and drank the Kool-Aid.
So we’re going to jump in a hundred percent behind him. He’s a great chiropractor, a great man. And think he would do a great job for those in Michigan. So you’re gonna be seeing information. So things like that are happening, right? This pandemic has brought opportunities for our profession to shine in ways that otherwise we may not have been able to shine.
And I’ve told you from the very beginning that I’m looking at this as an opportunity, not as this horrible situation that we have to be afraid of. And as we’ve moved across the country, we’ve been very successful. Again, we do not have a single chiropractor that we’re aware of that has had any issue with religious exemptions that said any issues, continuing to practice we’re navigating those waters successfully around the country and we believe that’s going to start to fall apart.
Now is the time more than ever for us to actually start digging in. Remember the vision of the defense counsel had nothing to do with this pandemic or mandates. It had to do with the idea of us having this elite strike force. That’s ready to move and can strike at the moment that anything comes up. And we’ve been successful at doing that.
Not only here in the United States, but around the rest of the world. Now’s the time to double down as I’m traveling around the country here over the next few weeks, I really want to impress upon you the importance of the work that’s been done and the work that needs to be done. Moving forward. We have issues that affect our profession that sometimes state associations don’t really have the means to take care of.
It’s not a knock on them. I, you guys all know I’m a big lover of state associations and the work that they do, but they’re limited in their capacity to do some things, but nonetheless, that work needs to be done. And that’s the work that we want to do. We’ve proven that we work with everybody. That’s willing to work with us.
We’re not here to replace anyone or to do anything of that nature, but now’s the time that we doubled down as we’re starting to win, as we have them on their heels, we want to make sure that we’re pushing harder. So we’re going on this massive real campaign to try to help people understand. The vision of what the defense counsel is doing and the work that we want to continue to do here in the United States.
So I’m asking you to pay attention to the things that we’re doing. Share this with your colleagues. Remember our goal is to get 10,000 individuals contributing by the end of this year. I’m very confident we can get there because of the success that we’re having around the world. So if you haven’t taken the time to review our website and see the information, obviously the United States, we’ve got things under.
But we’re starting to see this new wrinkle of where we need to start mobilizing and talking through the power of what chiropractic does. We need to take advantage of these opportunities to tell our story. And we’re going to be working with a number of groups to make sure that we can do that. So good stuff again.
I’m very excited with what happened in the United Kingdom. We’re expecting more things to happen like that across the country. But now’s not the time to celebrate. Now’s the time to double down and make sure that we push harder to ensure that our way of life is protected and that they never do anything like this again.
